INSPIRATION
The idea for the product came a few years ago when researching magnetorheological dampers. If there was advanced technology improving ride quality through dampers, why not springs? After all, the spring rate is the most important aspect of a vehicle's handling.

After dozens of ideas on the whiteboard and a few prototypes, the best way to achieve multiple spring rates in a compact package was the stacked coil spring design. The issue was finding the most durable and efficient lockout mechanism.
​
I was determined to solve this problem, thinking of every method of locking linear motion. Inspiration came from a different automotive technology, the sequential transmission. The rotating cylinder created a path for a pin, which would be perfect for this particular suspension setup.

Fast forward to 2022, where the proof of concept is installed successfully on a Ford Mustang, the business is established and looking to grow.

Eric Has a masters from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was an honor student and played linebacker/strong safety on the football team. He studied finance, economics, and engineering.

Outside of work and education, Eric helped hand-build a Corvette replica with his dad, plays multiple instruments in a 90's cover band, was an Eagle Scout & valedictorian, and enjoys all the dining and auto culture of Detroit with his wife, daughter and pugs.
